Sabja Seeds: A secret ingredient for weight loss

For most of us, consuming sabja seeds will be more than beneficial. But for a small part of the population, namely, pregnant women and children should avoid eating them in large quantities. Children can choke on them if it is not mixed well in water, and for pregnant women, it reduces the amount of estrogen in the body. Thus, for these two sections, it’s best to consult the doctor.

Apart from that, the presence of Vitamin K may also increase the chances of blood clotting, and reduce the effects of blood-thinning medication. Basil seeds are rich in fibre which may also lead to bloating. However, all these side effects are for the worst-case scenario and the benefits outweigh these effects by a large margin. Thus, consult your family doctor and infuse this wonder seed in your daily diet.
