Ingredients
- 1 pound peeled and deveined large shrimp
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- ½ cup frozen peas
- 1 carrot, grated
- Kosher salt and black pepper
How to Make It
- Marinate the shrimp in the yogurt, garam masala, and cayenne for 30 minutes.
- Cook the rice according to the package directions, adding the peas and carrot in the last 5 minutes.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers; season with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Broil until opaque, 4 to 5 minutes. Serve with the rice.
