Tamarind sauce is a sweet and sour sauce with a spicy flavor; a raw type of the classical Thai sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of soaked tamarind
- ½ (or more) tsp fresh chopped chilly
- ½ tsp chopped garlic
- 2 tsp agave nectar (or more)
- Sesame for garniture
- Salt
How to Make It
- Soak the tamarind in water for a while before use. Then put it in a food processor, process for a while and add the rest of the ingredients.
- Add water as needed. Mix well till it becomes smooth but not too liquid. Serve with sesame on top and white chopped onion.
