Ingredients
- 3 cups coconut flakes, macaroon-cut or fine-cut
- ½ cup raw coconut flour
- 3 tablespoons hemp protein powder, or other protein powder
- 2 teaspoons chlorella powder
- 2 teaspoons Incan spirulina powder
- ½ cup banana flakes or dried banana
- ¼ cup dates, pitted
- ¼ cup raw honey (liquid or crystallized) or coconut nectar
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
How to Make It
- In a food processor, mix the first five ingredients until they are mixed evenly into a flour.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the food processor, and mix until a dough forms.
- Add extra honey for a thicker consistency if desired.
- Line an 8 × 8-inch brownie pan with parchment paper, and press the dough into the pan with your hands, then top with another sheet of parchment paper, and roll a straight-sided glass over the top to evenly compact the dough.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before cutting. Remove from the pan, place on a cutting board, and cut into squares or other shapes. Store chilled.
