Spicy sausage and cabbage is such a delicious combination, and this recipe is a winner because it’s a one pot dinner. My favorite recipes tend to be those cooked in cast-iron skillets that you sauté on the stove and then finish in the oven, giving you time to clean up the kitchen a bit before serving, so when it’s time to eat you can just enjoy your food and your company.
Ingredients
How to Make It

- Add the sausage and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until browned. Remove from the heat, slice the sausage, and return it to the skillet.
- Add the cabbage and season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the provolone and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese melts. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 6 days.
