A sweet, refreshing and tasty sangria can be part of dessert or served throughout the entire meal. Whichever, it’s not something you want to miss. It’s very refreshing, but it’s also quite potent.
Ingredients
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 4 pitted and sliced plumbs
- 2 cups spiced rum
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1 orange
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 bottle burgundy or merlot wine
- ¼ cup triple sec
How to Make It
- Slice all the fruit and place in a large bowl or pitcher.
- Add the spiced rum, sugar and sliced fruit and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Pour in the wine, triple sec and orange and stir well.
