Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sesame or olive oil
- green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup (250 ml) kale, stems removed, cut in strips
- 1 cup (250 ml) cucumber, peeled and cut in sticks
- 2 cans (each 3.5 oz/100 g) sardines, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
For the Vinaigrette
How to Make It
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and sauté onions, tomatoes, kale, cucumber and sardines for about 5 minutes. Place in salad bowl and set aside.
- In a smaller bowl, whisk together ingredients for vinaigrette. Drizzle on sardine mixture.
- Before serving, sprinkle salad with sesame seeds.
