Every bite of this burger will remind you of the islands with its captivating flavors and a hint of pineapple.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 8 oz can; retain the juice pineapple slices
- 10½ oz 1 can condensed French onion soup
- 2 tsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp, unrefined apple cider vinegar
- 1 loaf, cut diagonally into 6 pieces French bread
How to Make It
- Divide the meat in 6 portions and shape into ½” thick patties.
- Over medium-high heat, fry patties until golden brown on each side. Use a pineapple slice to top each patty.
- In a bowl, combine the pineapple juice from the can, condensed soup, sugar and vinegar in a bowl.
- Pour mixture into the pan with the patties and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until the burgers are cooked through.
- Serve burgers in warm sauce with the French loaf pieces. Enjoy!
