Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 tsp cider vinegar
- 3–4 Tbsp ice water
How to Make It
- Mix the flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. With a pastry blender or two knives used scissors-style, cut butter into the flour mixture until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. With a fork, stir in vinegar and water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough begins to form.
- Press dough together and shape into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
