A lean alternative to the beef burger, served with savory ingredients that complement the richness of the meat.
Ingredients
For a Gluten-free option
- use gluten-free hamburger buns, mustard, and pickles
How to Make It
- Place all the ingredients in a large bowl, season well, and mix to combine. Divide the meat mixture into four equalsized balls and gently flatten to make patties. Chill the patties in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to help firm them up.
- Cook the patties on a hot grill or a griddle pan for 2 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or reduce the heat and cook for about 5 minutes, on each side, for well-done. Do not cook the patties for long over high heat since they will dry out fast. Serve with hamburger buns, mustard, and pickles.
