A health-giving, nourishing tea, best drunk when you’re feeling a little under the weather and in need of a boost.
Ingredients
- 3 cm ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 cm fresh turmeric, grated, or ⅓ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
- 1 lemon juice
How to Make It
- Place the ginger and turmeric in a saucepan and add 500 ml of water. Bring to the boil, then take off the heat and add the honey and lemon juice.
- Taste, and add more honey if you think it needs it. Pour through a sieve into two mugs, squeezing all of the juices out of the grated ginger, and grated turmeric, if using, with the back of a spoon.
