Make this yummy frozen dessert for your next picnic or cookout…it feeds a crowd!
Ingredients
- 2 cup bite-size crispy rice cereal squares, crushed
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup sweetened flaked coconut
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ gal vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 pt orange, raspberry or lime sherbet, softened
- Optional: candy sprinkles
How to Make It
- In a large bowl, combine cereal, brown sugar, coconut, almonds and butter.
- Blend well; press mixture into an ungreased 13"x 9" baking pan.
- Spread ice cream in crust; top with sherbet. Cover and freeze until set.
- Let stand at room temperature about 15 minutes before serving time. Cut into squares. Garnish with sprinkles, if desired.
