Ingredients
- 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
- ¼ cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 recipe Zucchini Tots
- 8 ounces cream cheese (about 1 cup), softened
- ½ cup beef bone broth
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (about 6 ounces)
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion for 5 to 7 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked. Season with the salt and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish. Arrange the zucchini tots evenly over the beef layer.
- In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese and broth until smooth. Pour over the tater tot and beef layers. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and slightly brown.
