I keep taco seasoning in a large jar in my pantry for easy additions to meals like this one. This salad is one of my easy go-to recipes when I don’t have anything else planned. It is so good!
Ingredients
- 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons Taco Seasoning
- 4 cups spring salad mix or torn lettuce leaves
- 4 Taco Bowls (optional; omit for dairy-free)
- ½ cup salsa
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sliced black olives
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ½ cup Taco Salad Dressing
How to Make It
- Sauté the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, using a spatula to break up the meat into crumbles, until the meat is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat, stir, and cook for another minute.
- Divide the lettuce among four Taco Bowls, if using, or serving bowls. Top each bowl with an equal amount of the cooked beef, salsa, tomatoes, olives, green onions, and dressing.
