This easy-to-make fish pate is just loaded with healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
Ingredients
- 1 medium (100 g/3.5 oz) red onion
- 1 package (100 g/3.5 oz) smoked salmon
- 1 large (200 g/7.1 oz) smoked mackerel filet
- 3.5 ounces (100 g) cream cheese
- ½ cup (115 g/4.1 oz) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml/1 fl oz) fresh lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
How to Make It
- Peel and finely chop the onion. Put the smoked salmon and mackerel into a blender together with the cream cheese and sour cream and then pulse until smooth. Add the lemon juice and season with black pepper.
- Add the onion and pulse just enough to mix it in. (Don’t blend it in completely: leave some small pieces in the mixture.) Serve with freshly-cut vegetables or as a topping for Ultimate Keto Bread, Onion & Poppy Seed Crackers, or Pesto Crackers.
