My dad loves to go salmon fishing and can his own salmon, which has a flavor that reminds me of canned tuna. If you prefer to use canned salmon in this recipe, it would be a great substitution. I served these wraps at my son’s birthday party as an easy appetizer, and they were a hit!
Ingredients
Tuna salad
- 2 (3.75-ounce) cans tuna
- ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, store-bought or homemade
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
- 0.12 teaspoon dried onion flakes or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
How to Make It

To make the tuna salad
- In a large bowl, combine the tuna, mayo, salt, and onion flakes.
- Arrange the lettuce leaves or tortillas on a cutting board.
- Place 3 tablespoons of the tuna salad on each lettuce leaf or 6 tablespoons on each tortilla. Garnish with the fresh chives and tomatoes, if desired. Roll up the lettuce leaves or tortillas around the tuna salad and enjoy!
- Store leftover salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
