Crab cakes are a classic restaurant favorite, so you might miss them when living the Keto Paleo lifestyle. This simple and tasty recipe, made with real crabmeat, contains no grains or artificial ingredients and can be made for a fabulous Sunday brunch … or for any occasion. You can use any leftovers for a quick weekday lunch on top of a salad or tucked in a wrap.
Ingredients
- ½ lb (227 g) crab meat
- 4 tbsp (60 ml) Keto Paleo Mayo
- ½ cup (50 g) almond flour
- 1 egg, whisked until foamy
- 2 tbsp (5 g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ tsp unrefined sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp (28 g) butter
How to Make It
- In a large bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayo, almond flour, egg, parsley salt and pepper, mixing gently but evenly. Form into four patties.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter on high heat. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on one side, then lower the heat to medium and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Serve immediately. These are great with a Brown-Butter Salad.
