When I think of milk shakes, my mind automatically jumps to images of chrome-plated countertops and leather swivel chairs while rock ’n’ roll music plays softly in the background. No matter how old I get, I’ll always find the image of a chocolate malted milk shake endlessly charming.
Ingredients
- ½ cup chocolate malted milk balls, plus extra for garnish
- 2 cups chocolate malt frozen custard
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional)
- Whipped cream, for garnish
How to Make It
- In a high-powered blender, grind the chocolate malted milk balls until no large chunks remain. Add the frozen custard and milk (and chocolate syrup for added chocolate flavor, if desired). Blend until you have a smooth, creamy shake.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate malted milk balls. Serve.
