This is a very easy way to prepare this classic French dish. And it tastes great.
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- ½ white wine
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ teaspoons garlic salt
- 6 slices of ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup bread stuffing mix
- 3 tablespoons butter
How to Make It
- Combine the soup, milk and wine.
- Pour ¼ of the liquid into the slow cooker.
- Season the chicken breasts with thyme and garlic salt.
- Place the chicken on top of the sauce.
- Top the chicken breasts with ham and cheese.
- Add the remaining sauce.
- Meal the butter in a skillet and stir in the stuffing mix.
- Stir for 5 minutes. Add the stuffing to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 4 hours.
