This recipe was sent to us by a box scheme customer. Who it is, we don’t know, but please come forward. It’s a delicious soup and very quick to make if you have some cooked beetroot to hand. If you don’t have any cooked beetroot but still need a quick soup, try it with the same quantity of finely grated raw beetroot.
This contribution came from Sarah Pope, who works in the kitchen. It’s lovely which has been said about Sarah herself!
Although it’s rich in nutrients, like vitamin C, cauliflower is usually a pretty bland-tasting vegetable. This gives you an excellent opportunity to flavor it just the way you like for an appetizing side. This cilantro lime flavoring will complement any steak dish perfectly!
Get ready to cook some Brussels sprouts your kids will be excited about eating! They’re rich in nutrients, including heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. This version is a complete reversal of the bland and boring Brussels sprouts you grew up eating!
This recipe calls for spiced ghee (niter kibbeh) and berbere spice mix, so it requires a little preplanning. If you don’t happen to have any spiced ghee on hand, you can certainly make the stew with regular ghee. But the niter kibbeh and spice blend are great staples to have on hand. Once you’ve made them, authentic Ethiopian food on a weeknight is entirely achievable.
