When local peaches are bursting with flavor, my first instinct is to celebrate with an old-fashioned shortcake. This recipe is also perfect with fresh strawberries.
Broccoli has an impressive nutritional profile. Low in calories and high in fiber, it is also rich in calcium and potassium, and a good source of Vitamin C.
These amazing meatballs may be served as an appetizer with toothpicks or as a main dish over Zucchini “Pasta” or Slow Cooker Cabbage “Pasta”.
Caesar salad is my favorite salad, and I could probably eat it every day. I love it with chicken, salmon and grilled shrimp. This version is a little different, as it doesn’t call for croutons, but you can always use pork rinds as a substitute if you are missing the crunch.

This classic Greek dish of prawns and feta (prawn saganaki) is a great winter warmer. The ouzo (Greek aniseed-flavoured aperitif) does add a nice bit of flavour but if you don’t have any, the dish will still taste great. Serve with salad and sourdough bread for dipping into the sauce or over pasta. Super-good whichever way. Yassou! (That’s a way of saying hello in Greek, BTW.)
