Pimiento peppers also known as cherry peppers is a perennial herbaceous shrub that has a smooth, conical or heart shaped about 3 to 5 inches long and 2 to 2½ inches wide fruit which has thick, sweet, red to reddish yellow flesh and is sweet, succulent in taste. Because of its higher nutritional value and amazing taste it is found used in several food items throughout the world since ancient times.
