Confirmation jig. An index of multiple implants fabricated on the master cast and tried in the mouth to check the accuracy of the master cast. If the jig does not fit in the mouth, it is cut and reconnected. A new cast or an alteration of the master cast is then made from the reconnected jig, which is called a verification cast. Also, a verification jig can be fabricated directly in the mouth, and a verification cast poured from that.
