Vascular wilt disease

The medical condition referred to is one in which the infecting agent is primarily localized within the vascular structure of the host organism throughout the course of disease progression. A defining characteristic of this condition is the manifestation of wilted tissue in the host organism. It should be noted, however, that if wilting is not a distinct symptom in the affected organism, the aforementioned term cannot be appropriately applied to describe the disease.
