Uterus duplex

A double uterus resulting from failure of union of mullerian ducts.

This refers to a condition where there’s a replication of either a portion or the entirety of the uterus. In some cases, two uteri might be connected to a single vagina, while in other situations, each of the two uteri might be linked to its own separate vagina.

Septate uterus, a relatively frequent condition, involves a tissue band, known as a septum, that separates the uterine cavity into two sections, rather than the typical singular space.
