Trifoliate

With three leaves; often used incorrectly for the next entry.

Plant with 3 leaves or leaflets.

Having three leaflets in a compound leaf, like a clover.

A compound leaf with only three leaflets (as in Clovers).

Consisting of 3 leaflets. The more pedantic botanists insist that the correct word is trifoliolate from the Latin foliolum for leaflet.
