Transitional cell carcinoma

An form of cancerous growth that can arise in either the bladder or the kidney. When occurring in the bladder, these tumors, known as transitional cell carcinomas, form within the lining of the bladder. In the kidney, this particular type of tumor develops in the lining of the renal pelvis, which is the central chamber responsible for collecting urine within the kidney.
