Therapy tube

A specialized x-ray tube specifically crafted for the purpose of x-ray therapy is distinguished from its diagnostic counterpart by operating at lower milliamperage and higher kilovoltage. The construction of a therapy tube deviates to some extent from that of a diagnostic tube. Notably, the focal spot is considerably larger, and it incorporates a stationary node set at a fixed angle of 45 degrees.
