Telophase

The final phase of mitosis.

The final stage of mitosis, the stage in cell division after anaphase.

Last of the four main stages of division within a cell nucleus, in which the new daughter chromosomes are at the poles of the division spindle, the nuclear membrane forms around them, the nucleolus reappears, and cytoplasmic division begins.

The final stage of mitosis and of each of the divisions of meiosis, in which the chromosomes at each end of the cell become long and thin and the nuclear membrane reforms around them. The cytoplasm begins to divide.

The final phase or stage of mitosis (karyokinesis) during which reconstruction of the daughter nuclei takes place and the cytoplasm of the cell divides, giving rise to two daughter cells.
