Sulindac

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Adverse effects include tinnitus, dizziness, skin rash, gastrointestinal upsets, and the possibility of drag interactions.


A drug used to treat arthritis; one of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). Sulindac (Clinoril) is used to relieve inflammation, swelling, stiffness, joint pain from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, a progressive arthritis of the spine. Sulindac is also used to treat bursitis, tendinitis, gouty arthritis, and other conditions. Sulindac reduces pain and inflammation.


A type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) employed to alleviate joint discomfort and rigidity in arthritis and sudden gout episodes. Side effects associated with sulindac are similar to those of other NSAIDs and encompass indigestion, and occasionally, stomach bleeding or ulcers.
