Salted nuts

Almonds, walnuts, peanuts, cashew nuts, and more can undergo a delightful transformation when seasoned with a touch of salt, creating a captivating medley perfect for cocktail parties. To prepare this enticing appetizer, begin by taking approximately 4 cups of blanched nuts and heating around 1 tablespoon of butter or oil in a skillet. Ensuring an even distribution, arrange the nuts in a thin, uniform layer across the skillet’s surface. Proceed to sauté them gently, employing a continuous stirring motion, until the nuts attain a harmonious and delicate shade of brown. Once cooked, carefully remove the nuts from the skillet and allow them to drain, embracing the opportunity to generously sprinkle them with salt. To further enhance their allure, extend the nuts out in a manner that facilitates cooling and crispness prior to serving. For an added touch of flair, a dash of paprika can be delicately sprinkled over the nuts, enhancing both their visual appeal and flavor profile.
