These wines, highly regarded, often come with a higher price tag due to the fact that Riesling vines produce approximately half the yield of other grape varieties. Although Riesling grapes are grown in Australia, South Africa, Chile, and California, the climates in these regions prove too hot to replicate the excellence found in German-made Riesling wines.
