Pyrexia of unknown origin

Sustained fever lasting over ten days without an evident reason. Typically, this is linked to a challenging-to-identify ailment or an atypical presentation of a common illness. Possible sources include viral infections, tuberculosis, certain cancers like lymphoma, and connective tissue disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus and temporal arteritis. Another potential factor for unexplained fever is a drug reaction.
