Pubic bone

The bone in front of the pelvis.

The lower anterior part of the innominate bone. It is a separate bone at birth; it begins to fuse with the ischium by age 8, and it is fully fused with the ischium and ilium by 16-18 years of age.

The anterior section of both hip bones forms the pubic region. The junction of the two pubic bones occurs at the pubic symphysis, positioned at the front of the pelvis.

The os pubis, one of the two bones that make up the front part of the pelvis.
