Pesce/pollo vegetarian

A designation employed to characterize individuals who practice a form of vegetarianism where red meat is avoided but fish (pesce in Italian) or chicken (pollo in Italian) is included in their dietary choices. Semivegetarian is the primary term used, while other variations encompass piscitarian or fishetarian for those exclusively consuming fish without chicken, and pollovegetarian or pollotarian for those incorporating chicken without fish into their vegetarian eating regimen.
