Performance

In psychology, pertaining to that which a child knows offered in response to a direct question.


A way in which something works.


The actual carrying out of an activity. The term occurs especially in connection with physician’s privileges, where the trend is to attempt to grant privileges, and to continue or terminate them, not only on the basis of the individual’s credentials, but also on her performance, that is, the skill with which she carries out the activities under review. To be able to evaluate performance accurately requires considerable sophistication in the collection and analysis of data about the performance demonstrated.


The undertaking and completion of mental or physical work. In rehabilitation, a person’s performance is observed and measured to determine functional capability.
