    Twice palmate, palmately compound.  

  • Biotope

    The life area of a community of organisms; the same as habitat, but for a whole community of plants and animals.  

  • Biota

    The flora and fauna of a region, the collective organisms occurring in a given area (which could be small, or planet-sized). The combined animal and plant life in an area.

    (In nomenclature) the name consisting of the genus name and species epithet. In mathematics and statistics, an equation containing two variables.  

  • Binary

    (In nomenclature) the name consisting of the genus name and species epithet.  

  • Binate

    Divided in two, or nearly so; (Of leaf ) with two leaflets on common petiole; (Of leaf ) simple leaf almost divided in two; Growing in pairs.  

  • Bilocular

    With two compartments, usually of a twocelled ovary. Two-celled.
