  • Participant observation

    The collection of data while being involved in the phenomenon being studied. A method of field research in which the investigator observes and records information about the characteristics of a setting through experience as a participant in that setting.

    An appetite or craving for peculiar or inappropriate foods. An abnormal craving for unusual foods.
