  • Posttest

    An examination of a body after death. Occurring or performed after death. An examination of a dead body by a pathologist to find out the cause of death. After death. The term also is used as an abbreviation for a postmortem (after death) examination of a body.  

  • Postmenopausal years

    The period in a woman’s life after the menses cease.  

  • Postmarketing drug surveillance

    A system whereby a drug’s usefulness and possible side effects are monitored after the drug has been marketed.  

  • Postmarital intercourse

    Sexual intercourse by a formerly married person.
