Replicon
A self-reproducing chromosome-like structure. A segment of DNA that includes the “start” and “stop” nucleotide sequences and can replicate as a unit. Self-replicating units of DNA include, for example, chromosomes, plasmids, and phages.

In the analysis of brain function, the circumstance in which the same behavior is sub-served by more than one brain area.

Replicability
In scientific research, the ability of one researcher to duplicate the findings of another, validity; reliability.

Repetitions
In weight lifting, the total number of times a weight is lifted within a set. Repetition is the performance of an exercise one time, such as lifting a weight once.

The maximum number of times that an exercise can be repeated within a specified period of time.
