Serial polygamy
Being married to only one person at a time but repeatedly divorcing and remarrying, serial monogamy.

A method of rote learning employing a serial list in which the person must respond with the next item on the list, serial learning.

Sequential pill
A chemical contraceptive. The first 15 pills taken in any given menstrual cycle contain synthetic estrogen, the remaining five or six contain both estrogen and progestogen. The estrogen inhibits ovulation, while the progestogen prepares the uterus for a menstrual flow.
