  • Uterine tube

    The fallopian tube that extends from each ovary to the uterus.  

  • Uterine souffle

    A rushing sound in the uterus due to maternal blood filling the placenta, blood vessels, and spaces. A gentle, murmuring noise that synchronizes with the mother’s heartbeat, detected on the sides of the womb, caused by the blood circulation in the expanded uterine arteries.
