  • Absorption x-ray spectrum

The portion of an X-ray beam that remains unabsorbed while passing through an absorber is known as the transmitted radiation. It is also commonly referred to as remnant radiation.

  • Absorption unsharpness

This phenomenon arises due to the absorption of X-rays by the object undergoing radiography. As a consequence, the resulting image exhibits a lack of sharpness in its interstructural geometry, often referred to as object unsharpness or subject unsharpness.

  • Absorbed dose rate

Radiation dose rate, expressed in rads per unit time, refers to the amount of radiation absorbed within a specific timeframe.
