  • Egg cell

    An immature ovum or female cell. Ovum; sex cell (gamete) of the female, which, when fertilized by the male spermatozoon, becomes a zygote.  

  • Efferent vessel

    A vessel which drains lymph from a gland.  

  • Efferent duct

    A duct which carries a secretion away from a gland. One of a group of 12 to 14 small tubes that constitute the efferent ducts of the testis. They lie within the epididymis and connect the rete testis with the ductus epididymidis. Their coiled portions constitute the lobuli epididymidis.

  • Eczematous dermatitis

    An itchy inflammation or irritation of the skin due to an allergic reaction to a substance which a person has touched or absorbed.  

  • Ectromelia

    A congenital absence of one or more limbs. Congenital absence or gross shortening (aplasia) of the long bones of one or more limbs. Hypoplasia of the long bones of the limbs. The inborn lack of a limb or portions of limbs.  

  • Ectrogeny

    A congenital absence of a part at birth. Congenital absence of any body part or organ.
