  • Bursae

    A sealed pouch enveloped by a synovial membrane and containing fluid, typically observed in regions prone to friction, such as locations where a tendon glides across a bone.  

  • Buboes

    Polished, elliptical, crimson, and exceedingly agonizing enlargements in the axillary region, groin, or neck that manifest as a consequence of infection with the plague.  

  • Bronchoscopy scan

    An invasive procedure employing a pliable, tubular instrument that is introduced into the respiratory passage, enabling direct visual scrutiny of the larynx, trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. This technique serves the purpose of obtaining tissue samples for biopsy or culturing, as well as facilitating the removal of impediments within the airway.

    In the realm of pulmonary care, there exists a procedure characterized by the repetitive cleansing of the inner linings of the bronchial tubes within the lungs. This methodical approach aims to purify and rejuvenate these vital passageways, promoting optimal respiratory function and overall pulmonary well-being.

The collection of breast tissue can be accomplished through either invasive surgical means or non-invasive needle-based methods.

Braces serve the purpose of rectifying malocclusion, by skillfully maneuvering the teeth into a revised and harmonious alignment.

    An obstruction within the intestines that impedes the regular passage of waste along the entirety of the intestinal tract.

    The process of expanding tubular structures, such as the esophagus, using a specialized instrument called a bougie or multiple bougies.
