Extraperitoneal cesarean section
Surgical removal of the fetus, placenta, and membranes through an incision into the lowest portion of the anterior aspect of the uterus. This approach does not entail entering the peritoneal cavity.

Cervical cesarean section
Surgical removal of the fetus, placenta, and membranes through an incision in the portion of the uterus just above the cervix.

Inflammation of the cervix uteri and the vagina.

Relating to, or beginning in, the upper segments of the cervical spine or neighboring soft tissues.

Inflammation of the cervix uteri and vagina.

Cervical rib syndrome
Pain and pares thesias in the the hand, neck, shoulder, or arms, usually due to compression of the brachial plexus of nerves by an accessory cervical rib.

Cervical motion tenderness
Pain elicited when the uterine cervix is manipulated during pelvic examination. CMT is often found in patients with pelvic inflammatory disease.
