  • Primary color

    Any of the three colors of light red, green, and violet that can be mixed to produce all the colors perceived by the human eye. Pigments that can be so mixed are red, yellow, and blue. Pure or fundamental colors (red, yellow, and blue) that cannot be created by combining other colors.  

  • Complemental color

    One of two spectral colors that produce white light when blended. Two colors from the spectrum that, when combined, create white light.  

  • Coloptosis

    A downward displacement of the colon.  

  • Coloproctostomy

    Surgical creation of a passage between a segment of the colon and the rectum.  

  • Coloproctectomy

    Surgical removal of the colon and rectum.  

  • Coloplication

    An obsolete technique of surgically folding the colon to reduce its lumen.
