  • Hypopallesthesia

    A decreased ability to perceive vibration.  

  • Hyponeocytosis

    A decreased number of leukocytes (leukopenia) with immature cells in the blood.  

  • Hypomorph

    A person with disproportionately short limbs with respect to the length of the trunk; the opposite of hypermorph.  

  • Hypomobility

    Restricted joint movement (play) that limits normal range of motion; the opposite of hypermobility.  

  • Hypomelanosis

    One of several disorders of melanin pigmentation in which melanin in the epidermis is decreased or absent. It may be caused by albinism, chronic protein deficiency, bums, trauma, or vitiligo.  

  • Hypomagnesemia

    Decreased magnesium in the blood. Clinically, it is accompanied by increased neuromuscular irritability. A notably deficient level of magnesium in the bloodstream.  

  • Hypologia

    Sparse verbal output; diminished speech.  

  • Hypolipidemic

    Decreasing the lipid concentration of the blood.  

  • Hypoleydigism

    Decreased secretion of androgen by the interstitial (Leydig) cells of the testicles.  

  • Hypolactasia

    The absence of enzymes that break down dietary lactose is common in adults, especially those of Northern European heritage, in whom it is a common cause of abdominal gas or indigestion.
