  • Fixed idea

    An idea that completely dominates the mind despite evidence to the contrary; a delusion.  

  • Dominant idea

    An idea that controls all one’s actions and thoughts.  

  • Ictal

    To or caused by a sudden attack or stroke such as epilepsy.  

  • Icosahedron

    A nearly spherical structure made of 20 identical subunits linked at 12 symmetrical corners. Each subunit is an equilateral triangle. Several viruses, including the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), are icosahedral.  

  • Ichthyotoxin

    A toxin present in the roe, spine, or muscle of fish or marine invertebrates.  

  • Lamellar Ichthyosis of newborn

    A rare form of inherited ichthyosis with lamellar desquamation.

    Linear nevus. The skin contains bands or lines of rough, thick, warty, hypertrophic papillary growths.
