  • Prometaphase

    The stage of mitosis in which the nuclear membrane disintegrates, and the chromosomes move toward the equator of the cell.  

  • Promegaloblast

    A cell of the erythrocyte series preceding the megaloblast.  

  • Prolymphocyte

    A cell intermediate between a lymphoblast and lymphocyte.  

  • Prolinase

    An enzyme that is found in animal tissues and yeast and that hydrolyzes proline peptides to simpler peptide and proline.
